This one-off was woven on my Swedish floor loom at home in Gloucester - see the pic where the warp has been beamed and the yarn is being tied on. I didn't know what I would be making as I dyed the yarn but the saturated shades and lovely quality all came together very readily. My go-to dyestuffs are weld, dyer's chamomile, coreopsis, madder, cochineal, logwood and indigo. However, there is no weld, indigo or madder dyed yarn in this colourful throw.

Full description
This square throw, roughly 40 x 41 inches, is made of plant and cochineal dyed Wensleydale yarn. Two lengths sewn up the middle with a wool loop border running round the edge. It would ideally live on a sofa, warming and cosy.
