Full description
This a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
It is a bright red double decker bus.
The body of the bus is made from two types of lovely red gently textured glass. Please note that there is a little mark within the glass above the second window which is a feature of the nature of the glass and is not a fault. The windows are clear iridescent and the steps are clear t corded glass.
Black nuggets for wheels and it's all ready for the road, or at least to hang in the window.
It is 14cm x 9 cm and hangs from a silvery chain securely attached to either side of the top.
It looks lovely hanging in the window where it shines and catches the light.
This would make a wonderful present for anyone, and especially for someone who likes buses. I can guarantee they won’t have one like this as it is designed and entirely handmade by me.
Please note thought that this is not a toy - it is made of glass and therefore appropriately delicate.
This item is totally individual. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece to ensure they are unique.
