I began modern calligraphy sometime in the 2010s. Pointed nibs and the modern style were SO lovely to write - the free flowing movements and gorgeous swirly swooshes you can make with the pen are fun. I began teaching modern calligraphy in 2014 (at Kirstie Allsopp's Handmade Fair) and I've loved sharing the craft ever since!
This kit includes the tools I use every day in my calligraphy work. It also has practice exercises and examples I've refined over the years - often inspired by the lovely people who come to my calligraphy workshops.
The ink is the smoothest you'll find. The nib is perfect for beginners - a favourite for modern calligraphy world-wide. The design of the kit is my favourite bit: a lovely A4 box to keep all your bits in, tied with a ribbon and finished with gold lettering. I'm proud of this calligraphy kit and I hope you love it too!
