Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
I love making pieces like this which use all the colours of the rainbow. I love the way they catch and throw the light. The crystal in the centre adds even more sparkle and makes it more special.
The octagon is framed for strength and neatness with twisted wire.
This is 14.5cms in diameter and hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely attached to the top of the suncatcher.
It makes a wonderfully bright addition to any room.
It is totally individual and I loved making it.
I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece to ensure they are unique.
