There are some lovely crafting people out there in Internet Land who provide tutorials and project ideas. This is our take on one of those projects.

Our Trinket Dishes are a lovely and practical way of keeping your small jewellery items safe. It's ideal for a bedside table to hold your rings, necklaces or cuff links. Also ideal for coins and keys.
The dish is approximately 10 cm square, and the corners are 2 cm high.
We make this design using a sheet of coloured glass, hand-cut to the required size for the base. We then take a second sheet cut slightly smaller and cut out the tree-shaped pieces, again by hand. These are arranged on the base sheet and the sheet is decorated with pieces of crushed glass (frit) and pre-fused glass dots. The first visit to the kiln fuses all the glass into a single sheet, but unlike some of our other pieces, there is a smoother texture to the tree shape. A second visit to the kiln is required to create the dish shape.
4 little rubber feet are fitted to provide stability and to protect your furniture.
We have a selection of this design in other colour combinations elsewhere in the shop, so feel free to browse around.
Please note that the jewellery and other items used in the photos are not included in the sale.
All our Fused Glass Art is designed and created at our studio in Shropshire.
