Round pieces of sea glass, sometimes called sea coins, are the bases of old broken bottles. The blue glass we've used for this pretty sun catcher is also from bottles - this time from poison or medicine. The blue glass looks great with the shiny red heart in the centre of the hanger. We've tumbled all the glass so it's perfectly rounded and finely frosted.
The sun catcher is 4 cm across. It comes with a length of transparent cord.
Our sun catchers are individually hand made in Chudleigh, Devon. We collect our materials ourselves, mainly from local beaches. Each piece of glass is unique, so each sun catcher is unique. We only use materials which have rounded edges, which is why we tumble pieces which have rough edges (this continues the process begun by the waves) until they are smooth.
The sun catcher will be delivered by Royal Mail. We usually post items within one working day of receiving payment.
