Large Handmade Ceramic Jug
Thrown on the potters wheel in strong white stoneware and finished with a hand carved sighthound handle.
This jug has been fired to 1250 degrees with a gorgeous glaze combo that is fast becoming my fave for this design - I call it tortoiseshell, it's a combination of oilspot and woodash.
The sighthound has been carved with an arched back to make for a comfy grip. The inner glaze is a vintage white to enhance the cups throwing rings.
17cm high x 14cm wide.
Food safe and microwave safe, and although dishwasher safe it is always best to wash handmade items by hand.
