There was a small scar on each end link probably where the safety chain was attached as I think this was originally a padlock bracelet and probably made in about 1900. A full set of Hallmarks would have been on the padlock but each of the reassuringly heavy links is marked as it was the custom in former times to exchange individual chain links for goods or services.

Full description
Mudlark Simon Bourne (si-finds on YouTube) found the length of chain in picture 1 in theThames sand and I have cleaned it up and separated the links to make a limited number (12) of these lucky link pendants. Choose your chain length via Options. And choice of bale (see last pic for alternative option)
