I sometimes see a hare bounding across the field next to my house. They are such magical creatures. The Celtic symbolism of the Hare is of abundance, prosperity, and good fortune. They were believed to have connections with the otherworld, were treated with respect and never eaten. The copper is used for grounding and the warmth it creates.
