I've been a professional upholsterer for over 35 years & have made furniture for Laura Ashley, Habitat & Christie Tyler to name a few. In 2003, when my daughter was 4, I decided to make her her own child's sized chair. I salvaged some wood, & cut up one of her old Winnie The Pooh duvet sets, & set about making Beth's chair. She adored it, and so did all of her little friends! I'd come home from work, and I'd go into my workshop & work until late, making these delightful little chairs for family and friends.
A few years later, I was made redundant, and I decided to start working for myself. I started selling my own handmade children's chairs in designer fabrics online, which proved to be very popular. This progressed to children's footstools, & then to adult chairs and footstools, and most recently to storage footstools. I have never looked back.
