What I love about the Wet Cyanotype technique is that you never know what the piece it's going to look like until you fix it in water and let it dry, then it reveals itself to you in all its perfectly imperfect glory. Occasionally some do end up in the bin!!

Full description
This Photogram of Japanese Anemone leaves carries all the hallmarks of the Wet Cyanotype technique, moody blues, sprinkles of salt, pinches of Turmeric gold, a mist of water and long exposure time in the Hampshire sunshine. I Love the veining in the leaves and the tones of blue produced by the technique. Quite magical. This piece would be a talking point on a lounge or drawing room wall.

Created on 300gsm acid free watercolour paper, hinge mounted to a backboard and White mount both acid free and in a fully recyclable protective bag.
Named ‘Anemone Blues’ numbered and signed on the reverse, it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity as an Original Artwork 1/1
Mounted Size 11” x 14” (27.94 x 35.56cm) ready for you to place into a standard 11” x14” frame of your choice.
Aperture size is 8” x 10” ( 20.32 x 25.4cm)
The photogram will be posted out in an all board envelope which is reusable and recyclable. I purchase packaging made from recycled products whenever I can.
