An elegant round knitted basket
ScruffBagz ... the perfectly imperfect bag.
Bags full of character and quirkiness - embellished with tassels, ribbons and more.
These bags are unlined ... but then anything else and they wouldn't be Scruffbagz.
Scruffbagz are hand knitted with hand spun and dyed yarn. The fibre is spun in the traditional way on a vintage spinning wheel. The wool is spun from Shetland X Cheviot fibre and alpaca.
For this basket I chose a super chunky yarn which, with its richly beautiful colours and undertones, gives the air of opulence ... from amber and pistachio to fuchsia and rose with hints of russet. The theme of opulence is continued with upcycled costume jewellery. The yarn is complemented with ribbons and tassels.
Look closely and you will find a spinning wheel charm ... a sign on the Scruffbagz of hand spun yarn. The basket is not rigid, being knitted.

7 inches at the base and 6 inches across the top, with a 5 inch opening.
Height 4.5 inches
A hand crafted, unique, little knitted basket ... perfect for storing those special things.
