A bright and sunny morning walk on Salisbury plain. The deer are starting to be a bit bolder and I caught sight of this chap just peeping out watching me. I thought I had a piece of wood that could do it justice.

Full description
This lovely piece of sycamore has a pyrographed deer peeking out from behind the tree. The grain and colour have been used to enhance the design. This chopping / serving board is more a piece of art than a kitchen utensile. The deer is burned into the surface using the colour and grain in the design..
The board is a beautiful piece of coloured and quilted sycamore, sycamore is naturally anti bacterial and is ideal for food items, it has been finished with a food safe chopping board oil. It measures approx. 10 inches x 7 inches x 1 inch a useful size that is a joy to handle.
Truely a lovely piece that is not done justice by my poor photography.
