This is a Mens Type T-Shirt from our 'Misquoted Phrases Series'- TenderTenter Hooks.
This is the third T-shirt in my 'Misquoted Phrases Series'. The Tenter (tender) Hooks phrase is one of the most commonly incorrectly spoken phrases, this was first brought to my attention by the church choir leader way back in the early 1990's after Sunday Service. I wouldn't like to say how old she was but she was a well educated and intelligent lady and was shocked that she'd only just discovered she'd been getting the phrase wrong all her life. So I thought of her when I was drawing this design.
The corrected word is printed discreetly on the back of the T-Shirt for you to point to when people tell you you're T-Shirt is wrong, you can give them a big thumbs up and point to your shoulders! Tenter hooks were hooks used in days of old to dry fabric with.
This typographic T-shirt is made using blue flock but you can have it on your choice of T-Shirt colour and size. We've shown it on the royal blue but you can choose another colour, I quite like the heather grey too.
