I have always loved ceramics and have spent many years collecting beautiful and sometimes broken pieces of china that I have found in antique shops, flea markets and boot sales. I often use these found treasures in my photography and occasionally in my mixed media art work. Making jewellery seemed a natural progression and a wonderful way to display these beautiful patterns and colours.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
A beautiful hand crafted pendant made from a vintage china plate, in an antiqued silver metal mount. The pendant measures approximately 3.5cm tall including the bail, 3cm wide and 0.7cm deep.
It comes on a black waxed cord which is 44cm long and has a 5cm extension chain (total 49cm). I am happy to change this to a 57cm cord with a 5cm extension chain (total 62cm) if you prefer. Please let me know when you place your order.
The pendant has been crafted from broken, chipped or crazed china that is no longer fit for purpose - no perfect plates were harmed in the making of my jewellery! This piece is from a Crown Ducal plate called 'Orange Tree'. Each pendant is a unique statement piece and has it's own little characteristics from the vintage china it's been taken from.
The pendant will be carefully packaged in a sturdy, hand decorated box and will be posted Royal Mail Tracked 48 hours with signature. If you would like more than one item, please contact me for combined postage costs.
This listing is for the pendant only, and you will receive the actual one in the photo. I have photographed it next to a 50p piece to give an idea of scale and also shown an example of the box it will be packaged in.
