I've long been looking for things to make with whisky barrels. The oak used is perfectly quarter sawn and excellent quality. However, the unusual shape of the staves makes it challenging to find products that will work. These stands are interesting and fun to make and by using the unfinished outside of the barrel, their origin can be seen.

Full description
A folding recipe book stand or table top music stand made from whisky barrel staves.
When in use it measures 380mm(15 inch) x 200(8inch) and can hold most types of recipe book as well as tablets and phones.
It folds down to 190mm(7.5 inch) x 70mm(2.75 inch).
Made of whisky barrel oak and copper rivets.
The stand supplied may not be exactly as pictured due to the different grain patterns of the oak and characteristics of the barrel. They are, however, the same size.
