I haven’t made this 3D design holly wreath for a number of years but thought I’d make a couple for this Christmas. It really is a lovely wreath - I hope you like it.
Each piece of glass has been cut by hand, ground, washed and foiled. The 12 leaves have been soldered to a tinned copper wire ring, 14 red glass nuggets have been used for the holly berries. The glass used is a dark green corella glass for the leaves, red sea glass has been used for the candle and ribbon and yellow wissmach glass for the flame.
Two rings and a length of fishing line have been attached for hanging purposes.
This really is a feature piece measuring 22.5cms wide by 28cms high (including the ribbon).
I will supply a window hook so you can hang it as soon as received but it would be advisable to used a more permanent fixing. Please remember to wet the plunger before you push it firmly onto the window.
