Eco & Zero Waste Pledge
My collections create purposeful items, including many that replace single use alternatives.
Where possible I endeavour to reduce my impact on our fragile planet.
When choosing materials I seek to:
- use recycled fabrics
- pad products with wadding that is 100% recycled plastic bottles
- upcycling discontinued fabric sample books to reduce landfill
- source Eco-friendly haberdashery resources where possible
I work towards Zero Waste by:
- using fabric offcuts & scraps to create new fabrics
- using Eco-friendly and recycled packaging
Reducing landfill and using recycled plastic bottles always gives me inspiration to make something beautiful which is also purposeful.

Full description
This bright and cheery bag is made up using 5 different complimentary fabrics that began life in a soft furnishing fabric sample book. Each fabric is uniquely different but blend in tone and design well with each other.
I have used traditional patchwork techniques and quilted with a contemporary decorative stitch using lime green thread.
The wadding I have used to give the bag a soft to touch structure is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles, giving the finished piece excellent eco credentials.
Internally the bag is fully lined in sage green star design cotton which encase all the seams giving a neat finish.
The wide aqua strap is soft, comfy and fully adjustable giving you the option on how to wear it.
Finally the closure is a strong giant popper with a pretty bronze effect charm on the flap.
Approximate dimensions are:
8.5" high
7.5" wide
2" wide gusset
54.5" strap when fully extended
28.5" strap at its shortest
