Offered up for the first time here as part of the Super Seconds Festival!
This lovely ceramic hanging bird decoration (possibly a dove, partridge or a calling bird!) has been decorated using the fluid pour dip technique half in a deep rich red and the other half in blue. the decoration is on the the front, the reverse is painted in plain gold.
The wing detail and eye have been picked out in gold pen to highlight them.
This is a flat decoration approximately 10cm across and 7cm high, it hangs from 8cm of gold 3mm satin ribbon. The shape is approximately 6mm thick.
It has been varnished to give a glossy shine.
A lovely twist on a traditional decoration. Not suitable for hanging outside.
