Bohemian Bloomsbury Group style, hand painted / upcycled vintage, glazed picture frame which I have painted in muted tones of lemon, rust, green, brown etc to transform this plain wooden frame it into a bohemian, shabby piece of wall decor, into which I have inserted a sympathetic print, taken from a 1935 'The Artist' magazine, which you can of course change if you prefer. I have distressed the frame here and there by sanding then I have lightly finger rubbed gold acrylic to the edges of the frame ridges, which gives a nice reflective sheen when seen from certain angles. I then finished the frame by buffing with specialist painted furniture wax for a lovely soft sheen and for protection. The frame measures 10.25 x 8.25 and the image (aperture size) is 5.5 inch by 3.5 inches. This lovely frame would suit many interiors; boho, shabby, 1930s up to contemporary and would make a striking and attractive accent in any room.
