SEAFARER collection
The collection is inspired by my childhood growing up at the seaside resort of Cleethorpes, and strong family connections to maritime history. Imagine the crashing of waves against a metal hull, overtime ageing the vessel until at last it sits abandoned in the dock. The textures of rusted metal and aged rope are represented here in the silver pieces which have been heated until the surface becomes molten, though before fully melted, which creates the beautifully organic ridged surface as the liquid silver flows over the solid core. Sea glass and pearls reflect my love of beach-combing, the eternal search for buried treasure which persists to this day.

Full description
Beautifully imperfect, these rustic silver dome stud earrings are formed by heating the sterling silver just to the point of initial melting, allowing the molten surface to flow over the still solid core, creating the lovely aged metal texture. Due to the natural flow of the molten metal, the circles will not be uniform in shape, adding to their artisan feel.
These earrings are handmade to order. You will receive a pair close to that shown in the photo, though due to the method of production your piece will have it's own unique texture and shape, making it truly one of a kind.

Earrings measure approximately 10mm diameter.
