The Japanese concept of Wabi Sabi means the ‘art of finding beauty within the imperfections of life and accepting the natural cycle of growth and decay. Celebrating cracks, crevices, and all other marks that time, weather and love leave behind’
This series of rings celebrates all that is aged, imperfect and weathered. The distressed gold reminds me of ancient Japanese lacquer combined with ebony wood. The old is combined with the contemporary design of cut edges and bold size, joining together all that has been with all that is to come.

Wabi-Sabi Rings
A dramatic statement ring inspired by the Japanese concept of Wabi-Sabi in black and gold.
Contemporary and bold, this ring stands high on the finger and really stands out. Each of my Wabi-Sabi rings is unique and individually handmade, no two are alike. I have designed them to be imperfect and distressed, with an ‘aged’ feel, I wanted them to retain a feel of the hand of the maker. I love the drama of the black and gold leaf together, reflecting my admiration of antique Japanese lacquer boxes.
This ring is made from polymer clay which means it is strong but extremely lightweight which allows for a big bold design without being heavy.
This ring is a size L
