Handwoven in 6 shades of very fine cotton and linen in a Fibonacci gradient. Gently shifting from deep navy, turquoise and teal, to lighter shades of sea spray, the scarf is woven in a double-sided Scandinavian structure, producing triangular sails. The palette is inspired by the North Sea - the draft by the sails of the boats moored in Whitby marina. The perfect weight of scarf, and is great for people sensitive to wool and looking for a light summer scarf. Linen and cotton is non itchy and naturally regulates temperature. Very light, with a good drape.
Measures approximately 26cm x 190cm
Woven entirely by hand on a custom-built 8 shaft Swedish floor loom from surplus high-quality yarn otherwise destined for landfill.
