Full description
A hanging heart decoration made from strips of silk fabric in shades of green. Needle felting has been used to secure the fabric strips to a felt background without the need for stitching. The needle felting process also produces a beautiful textural effect to the surface of the silk. The heart has been backed with dark green fabric and overstitched around the edge to prevent fraying. A gold coloured hanging thread has been added and the heart finished with three small acrylic crystals. The heart measures approximately 8cm x 8cm.
