Welcome to my Scottish store. My store has been closed for the last two years while I was overseas with family.
sewmoira is the place for unique handmade fabric bags, purses and pouches and ladies & mens hand knitted hats and accessories.
All of my items are designed and created in my smoke and pet free studio in Northeast Scotland. Individual items made from quality fabrics, yarns and materials, created with care and attention to detail for people who like hand crafted items rather than mass produced.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Fantastic mens beanie style hat in thick, cosy Aran wool. Yarn is wool blend and is 20% Wool and 80% Acrylic. It should be hand washed cool and dried flat.
The style is a chunky pull on hat which can be pulled well down over the ears to keep them warm and protected. The hat has a fold back panel all the way round. The hat is knitted in Half Fisherman's rib stitch which adds to the warmth as the yarn is double thickness as the stitches are made. I have chosen to use the chunky rib side for the outer of this hat as I think it looks terrific. This is a fashionable hat that is practical and has been knitted with warmth in mind.
I knitted this myself in my smoke and pet free studio using Hayfield yarn in darkest black. The colour is hard to photograph but it is a rich, very dark black in real life!
Great hat that would suit any shape of face, any age, any jacket or coat and most occasions when you need to be warm! Fits average size mens head.
