Inspired by the colours of our Lake District Slate, we curated this lovely selection of fine perle threads which will be a great addition to any thread collection.

Gentle blues and neutrals are chosen for our Lakeland Slate variegated threads pack.
The single strand cotton sews as size 16 perle embroidery thread in a beautiful range of variegated colours.
Very strong and resistant to fluffing, the mercerised cotton thread has a long staple with a gentle sheen
We select only the highest quality threads, some of which are hand dyed by artisan dyers and wind them ourselves as a continuous length with no knots or joins.
Well suited to all embroidery techniques including cross stitch, blackwork, needlepoint, fine Hardanger, pulled or drawn thread work and other counted stitch techniques.
In general embroidery, the gentle twist of the thread provides texture and definition.
