This cute blackwork mushroom pair was originally created for our essential Blackwork embroidery course but was so popular that we turned it into a kit in its own right.
It is a good project for the beginner and makes a lovely gift for stitching friends and relatives.

This kit contains printed pattern and charts and can only be returned if the pack is unopened.

A happy little pair of blackwork mushrooms offering a range of Blackwork embroidery techniques.
Everything you need except water soluble marker and scissors is in the kit.
Shading is achieved by the use of different thread grades and part stitches.
Blackwork embroidery is very therapeutic in much the same way as cross stitch but works quite quickly and once you can see where you are going with the design, there is no need to keep looking at the chart, except to see where threads and stitches change.
The threads supplied are of the highest quality soft, mercerised 100% cotton.
The kit comes complete with chart and full instructions and the finished piece measures approx. 13 x 13cm.

25 count Zweigart evenweave antique white (approx 22 x 22cm)
Finest blackwork mercersied 100% cotton threads.
High quality John James needle.
Tracing paper.
