I love experimenting with different forms of media. The idea for this picture came from my memories of lovely family holidays by the beach as a child.

Full description
This charming seaside scene has been made using various techniques. The background is painted with bright acrylic paint onto linen & then the beach huts have been added using re-cycled material. The sun & clouds have been needle felted onto the linen & the rest of the parts of the picture have been hand embroidered. The picture has been surrounded by a white mount, making the total size of the picture 25.5 cm x 25 cm. The picture has been backed with linen, making it either ready to hang as it is or to be mounted in a glass frame of your own choosing.
