Olive branch suncatcher made in stained glass by Carole’s Glass.
One Christmas I was given a lovely little glass panel which featured an olive branch. This is what I created using stained glass which I think is a good recreation.
Each piece of glass has been hand cut, ground, washed, foiled before being soldered together, then washed again.
I have used 3 types of green glass and small black nuggets to represent to olives. The leaves and olives have been soldered to tinned copper wire.
Please note the olive branch on the left has now sold.
These suncatchers measure approx 17 cms wide by 25 cms long. I say approximately as I’ve 3 in this listing and they’re all slightly different.
I think this would look lovely in a kitchen window, what do you think?
I will supply one good quality window hook so this can be hung as soon as received. Please remember to wet the plunger before pushing firmly onto the window.
