This school dress is full of little details that give it a really high quality tailored finish. My little girl looks super smart.
The classic peter pan collar is smart and feminine. The placket is fully functioning for easy dressing. The belt loop is sewn from the same fabric for a really smart finish. The belt can be adjusted to suit the wearer for a perfect fit. The sleeves feature little tabs with matching buttons.
And there's pockets! Two good sized patch pockets with matching buttons.
I'm all about well designed, hard wearing kids clothes that look great wear after wear. I've been making my daughter's school dresses from this fabric for years. Even with near constant washing and wearing we get a full year's wear out of it.
Size 7 - 8 years. Chest 26.5 Inch, Hip 28.5 inch, Waist 23.5 inch.
All seams are double stitched for extra strength to stand up to rough and tumble play. They are finished with an overlocker, so there's no raw edges to fray in the wash.
Machine stitched in Lancashire with polycotton gingham fabric.
Machine wash at 40 degrees. I like to line dry these dresses but you can pop them in the dryer if you wish.
