Full description
A beautiful 100% cotton design by UK fabric designers. The centre panel is on a pale grey background and looks like it’s right out of a favourite story book, fairies, unicorns, treehouses, flowers, etc. in a magical land. I have added a pale grey inner border quilted with leaves and then added an outer border of squares individually made from rectangles of many of the coordinating fabrics in this range, butterflies, fairies, fairy glow sparkles.. You could spend hours looking at the different patterns in this fairy and unicorn forest scene. See photos of the intricate design on all 4 outer edges on the front of this quilt.
The back is 100% cotton pale grey material with a panel of different coordinating fabric across the width of the quilt. Unicorns, butterflies, flowers etc Either side looks lovely.
I have quilted leaves with the occasional flower and butterfly using free motion embroidery to go with the magical forest scene. Overlocked seams and hand sewn grey satin bias binding applied.
Quilt measures approximately 150cm wide and 125cm depth. The wadding is good quality 80% cotton / 20% polyester from Bosal.
Washable at gentle 30 degrees. Line dry or dry in an airing cupboard. Medium Iron.
Some of the fairies, unicorns, lights in fairies treehouses glow subtly in the dark. if a light has been on for a while beforehand. Please do not place a light too close to this quilt for fire safety. Only suitable for children aged 4 and above.
