i love planting flowers of the papery kind almost as much as the real life kind! their blossoms and blooms are so cheerful and happy.
this little illustration is one of a collection i made, which you can see in the group picture.
it is an original artwork in artists pens and watercolour pencils and paints, on textured white khadi paper, which is handmade in india from recycled cotton rag. the paper has been hand torn to create a deckled edge, which I have then mounted to a dark grey hand painted 'twinchie'.
measures exactly two inches x two inches. (hence the name 'twinchie')
the mount shown is not included, but available in a separate listing within my shop. it will enable this tiny artwork to fit inside any standard 6 x 4 inch frame.
