At Hearts and Hugs, you will find a selection of handdrawn and handmade designs, which reflect my love for working with textiles and pen and ink. I really enjoy the process from concept to finished product and I hope this shines through my work.
If you're looking for something specific, I welcome commissions and requests for bespoke handmade and handdrawn designs. I love to hear your ideas, so please do get in touch.
At present, due to the complex shipping process, I am regrettably not shipping to Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and Europe.
Sometimes you can spend ages sifting through rows of greeting cards and still can't find the one that's right for your special someone.
With a bespoke design service, you can achieve a card design that both you and the recipient will love.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

Do you have a special occasion coming up and need a card designed to your specifications? I would love to help.
Sometimes it can be difficult finding the right card.
I welcome commissions to design handdrawn greeting cards exclusively for you. The customer and I work together to create a card that is a one-off design, and that the recipient will love.
The greeting card is 5 x 7ins and is blank inside for your handwritten message. The photos I have shared here are from my portfolio of commissioned greeting cards handdrawn by me for customers. These cards are not for sale, but demonstrate my artistic style.

Design Process

1. The customer and I discuss their requirements by email.
2. I will prepare a rough draft based on the customer's brief.
3. The customer will edit or approve accordingly.
4. I will prepare additional drafts, if required. A customer can have up to 3 edited drafts.
5. Final approval from client.
6. I will print design on to the greeting card
7. Dispatch
The time it will take to complete and dispatch your greeting card will vary. It would depend on how detailed the design is, and how quickly we get through the drafts process.
