Welcome to my Folksy shop! After selling my art and illustrations for 18 months I decided to create a shop specifically for my original works such as lino prints, screen prints and paintings.
There is a lovely pond in a neighbouring town where my partner and I like to sit and look at the nearby wildlife. We call it 'the bug pond' because of the number of unusual insects we see there. My favourites are the water snails who I love to watch making their way around the pond. Whenever they appear around spring it's always a great sign that summer's on the way. One of the first linocuts I ever made, I had to capture the lazy pond life beauty of this water snail.

Full description
This is an original linocut print of a water snail resting on a lily pad in a pond, made using oil-based black relief ink and hand-printed on beautiful 77gsm Japanese paper in white. The print is number 3 in the first variation of an open edition. The paper size is hand cut by myself to a square size, and measures approximately 13.5cm high by 13.5cm wide, and comes editioned, signed and dated.
The photos I have used in this listing are of the exact print you will receive. As no two lino prints will ever look the same, please check the images to ensure you are happy with the print.
If you live in the UK, the print is sent using Royal Mail Signed For 2nd Class. For all other countries it will be sent using Royal Mail International Standard Tracked & Signed.
