Nikki has been creating beautiful jewellery using traditional, as well as more modern Silversmith techniques for over ten years now, first opening the gates to 'Magic in the grass' in 2009.
Working from our studio based in the Yorkshire Dales, Nikki takes inspiration from the world around. We believe that beauty is everywhere if you open your eyes and your heart!

Fall in love with our beautiful Aztec inspired Silver jewellery collection, brand new for 2022, by Magic in the grass...
'Xihuitl' is an Aztec name meaning 'comet'...these handmade studs are designed to represent the sun and her surrounding comets. The design is pressed into the Silver, and an oxidising solution is used to darken the pattern and really make it 'Pop!'

The earrings measure around 1cm in diameter, and as these are crafted by hand, no two are ever exactly alike...this only adds to the charm of these quirky little characters!

Your jewellery arrives with a small piece of silver cleaning cloth. It's impregnated with tarnish remover to keep your jewellery nice and sparkly! If you take good care of your purchase you will be able to wear it for a long long time, and perhaps you may pass it down to future generations.
