This silver ring was based on seeing the Sun through a gate on a
Cornish country lane .
To represent the Sun I chose to set an orange sapphire.
The details of the ring represents a walk down the lane, past stone walls with pennywort plants growing in them, and the wrapped wire depicts the long walk you always find going back up the hills.
A citrine could be set as an alternative and would cost less than the orange sapphire.
