Full description
Handmade trivet spoon
Thrown on the potters wheel in strong stoneware and glazed in vintage white and some decorated with royal blue flux to the rim.
NOTE: only white spoon rest is now in stock without the blue rim.
Original illustration of a swallow is from a collaboration with Ben Rhodes at House of Hawks. The image is taken from his original watercolour and fired onto my pottery in a third firing to make it robust and part of the pottery piece.
Fired to 1250 degrees - strong, robust and waterproof pottery.
These spoon rests are 9cm in diameter and can be functional as a spoon rest of trinket dish.
Food safe and microwave safe, and although dishwasher safe it is always best to wash handmade items by hand.
