All the items in my shop are handmade by myself in my studio in Scotland! I use a variety of different glass techniques to create unique designs and custom orders are always welcome.
Inspired by the steampunk aesthetic but applied onto the unusual canvas of the glass hare silhouette, I also can use copper lustre for a slightly subtle change to the metallic finish.

Full description
No key, but this baby hare keeps ticking! One for the steampunk & Victorian era fans!
This little hare is made from one piece of chunky 10mm thick clear float glass that has been cut to shape using a water jet cutting machine.
It has then been screen-printed by hand in black glass enamel and then hand-painted in 24ct gold lustre, which is fired into place making it waterproof and resistant to sunlight. All my kiln-fired pieces are carefully digitally annealed and cooled for strength and safety.
It measures -

Width - 70mm / 2 3/4 inches
Depth - 10mm / 3/8 inch
Weight - 100g / 3 1/2 oz
My little hares are also available as greetings cards, enamel pins and glass brooches, stud earrings, pendants or cufflinks in my shop collections.
