I gave myself a challenge to make something difficult, I am a self taught fibre artist and apart from loving the bright colours of a chameleon, I try to expand my felting abilities in each new project I make

Needle Felted Veiled Chameleon also known as a Yemen Chameleon
Very bright and so colourful!
First of all I made my wire armature then started to build up the chameleons body shape, once I was happy with the overall shape I started adding the colourful detail which brought him (or her) to life
I also made the wire armature branch for him to relax on, available with or without the curly tongue!
Measurements are approx in inches
Chameleon is 10.5 length and 7 height
Branch is 15 length and 5.5 height
