All the items in my shop are handmade by myself in my studio in Scotland! I use a variety of different glass techniques to create unique designs and custom orders are always welcome.
I was inspired by the zebra stripes and decided to give them a bit of a modern twist by converting them into a barcode. It then casts a great shadow when the light hits it too.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Full description
A modern twist on a Zebra's stripes, in a choice of colours.
This zebra is made from one piece of chunky 10mm thick clear float glass that has been cut to shape using a water jet cutting machine.
It has then been screen-printed by hand in this barcode design using your choice of coloured glass enamel, which are fired into place making them waterproof and resistant to sunlight. All my kiln-fired pieces are carefully digitally annealed and cooled for strength and safety.
Finally a small clear glass base is fused onto the zebras hooves for stability and it is gift boxed with a story card.

The image above is an example, as each Zebra is unique, due to the making process.
Zebras are also available as brooches and cufflinks in my shop collections.
