Some of my work is currently being exhibited at The National Trust, Lamb House, Rye as part of their exhibition "300 years of Lamb House".
I have always loved Rye and have aways loved the author EF Benson's Mapp and Lucia books. The books were set in Rye and I had often thought about making artwork relating to the books. I made linocuts of the real life houses which his characters lived in and was very fortunate (and overjoyed) to then go on to display my work with The National Trust in Rye in Lamb House. Lamb House itself was Lucia's and also Mapp's house in the books!

An original linocut print from my ongoing Exhibition currently showing at Lamb House in Rye, Sussex. This is a beautiful Georgian National Trust Property. All the prints in this exhibition feature the houses of Rye which were immortalised by the author E F Benson in his Mapp and Lucia books. Lamb House was “Mallards” in the books and this was where Mapp and later Lucia lived. Henry James was another famous resident of this magnificent house. The print will be titled “Mallards” and signed. ( please note that If you would prefer your print to be titled “Lamb House” simply let me know by message after ordering.)
The print measures 21cm x 14.8cm, I print on HoSho Printmakers paper with Caligo SafeWash inks. The print will be securely parcelled up for posting.
