This piece brings spring sunshine into your home, with beautiful daffodils and amber buds to symbolise new life. I've used warm yellow and amber tones to create the different flower types here and chosen a bright yellow matte ceramic vase to complete the piece. These make a beautiful sustainable gift for yourself or your loved ones.

I individually handcraft every petal of each flower from molten glass in a 1200 degree flame. Once complete each stem is fired in a kiln to 'anneal', this strengthens the glass whilst cooling it. The whole process takes around 10 hours from glass rod to beautiful bloom. Checkout the listing video to see a little more of the process.
Each flower stem measures approximately 17cm long, with the heads of the flowers varying from 2cm-3cm depending on the style and design. Every flower is individually handmade, using stainless steel wire and molten glass. Each petal is added, one at a time, shaping the glass to create the perfect bloom before placing it into a kiln to anneal.
The stems are stainless steel, please do not attempt to trim the stems without sharp wire cutters, else the vibrations from cutting with insufficient tools may damage the petals. Please also refrain from bending or shaping the wire, this can cause the glass within the head of the flower to move causing cracks in the glass to occur.
