I was trying out throwing with different clays and although this is usually a hand building clay, it worked well on the wheel but I had to work quickly as the "bits" (known as grog) act like sandpaper on your hands! Really liked the results I got with the two textures - raw exposed textured clay and the smooth gloss of the glaze. I enjoy my coffee in the cups made from the first attempts but these are much lighter!!

Full description
These cups are made from a rough clay so have a lovely texture to them! Smooth turquoise green gloss glaze on top, slightly rough on the bottom. Fired to c1230 degrees (stoneware temperature) which makes the cups more durable.
Diameter at top - 8-8.4cm
Height - 7.5cm
The glaze is lead free and food safe. Can be placed in the microwave and the dishwasher but some prefer to hand wash!
