All the items in my shop are handmade by myself in my studio in Scotland! I use a variety of different glass techniques to create unique designs and custom orders are always welcome.
This bear sculpture is simply the whimsical notion that bears at some point in time have explored Stonehenge with as much mystery as ourselves....plus also used it's stones as a scratching post!
This item is made-to-order and will be posted to you by flyingcheesetoastie within 5 days of receiving payment.

Iconic Neolithic British Site in an unexpected place!
This bear is made from one piece of chunky 10mm thick clear float glass that has been cut to shape using a water jet cutting machine.
It has then been screen-printed by hand in this Stonehenge design using black glass enamel, which is fired into place making it waterproof and resistant to sunlight. All my kiln-fired pieces are carefully digitally annealed and cooled for strength and safety.
Finally a small clear glass base is fused onto the bears feet for stability and it is gift boxed with a story card.
It measures -
Height - 110mm / 4 1/4 inches
Width - 200mm / 7 4/5 inches
Depth - 20mm / 3/4 inch
Weight - 362g / 12 3/4 oz
The image above is an example, as each Bear is unique, due to the making process.
Bears are also available as brooches, cuff-links and greetings cards in my shop collections.
This piece is unique, designed and made by me in my studio in Glasgow, Scotland.
