Needle Felted Sleeping Fox
Created using wool and wire.
I used a stunning Corriedale wool fox blend for this project with white and black New Zealand Sheep wool for the details.
This Sleeping Fox is sitting on a natural wooden slice, covered in my “wild woolly woodland” Bluefaced Leicester curls.
His whiskers were created with black horse tail fibres.
The wooden base of this sleeping fox is 4 inches across. The height of the sleeping fox is approximately 2 inches tall, including the base.
Foxes are beautiful nocturnal animals and red foxes can sleep up to 10 hours a day. I think they look so peaceful all curled up.
This Sleeping Fox was 100% needle felted and handmade by me.
I adore needle felting these sleeping creatures and each project is one-of-a-kind. As my creations are all handmade, they will never be the same.
All my needle felted creations are for decoration only and not for small children.
