All the items in my shop are handmade by myself in my studio in Scotland! I use a variety of different glass techniques to create unique designs and custom orders are always welcome.
This design harks back to my architectural glass training by using both traditional black glass enamel and the amber silver stain to create the honeycomb print. I have a great appreciation of bees, despite being allergic to them and all the aspects of their existence is still fascinating to me.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Covered in Honeycomb with some bees busy at work making a sweet treat for this little bear!
This bear is made from one piece of chunky 10mm thick clear float glass that has been cut to shape using a water jet cutting machine.
It has then been screen-printed by hand in this honeycomb bee design using black glass enamel and hand painted with traditional amber silver stain, which is fired into place making it waterproof and resistant to sunlight. All my kiln-fired pieces are carefully digitally annealed and cooled for strength and safety.
Finally a small clear glass base is fused onto the bears feet for stability and it is gift boxed with a story card.
