Full description
I quite often see these scampish little wood mice about my smallholding. They're amazingly agile, I've spotted them climbing up baling twine.
This little mouse has been created using pyrography, which is burning on wood, and coloured with artists acrylic ink. It's sealed with artists varnish.
The heart is approximately 10cm x 10cm on 3mm plywood.
Pyrography fades in direct sunlight, and it's always best to keep wood away from extremes of temperature and humidity.
This is a handmade item on natural wood so there will be imperfections in the grain, wood also ages.
Colours can appear differently on different monitors and devices.
