In Norse mythology Huginn & Muninn are Odin's two ravens often seen pictured upon his shoulders. Huginn is the old Norse word for ''thought'' and Muninn is the old Norse word for ''memory''. Every morning at sunrise Odin would send them to fly through all the nine worlds as his eyes and ears, gathering information and returning to whisper the news to him.
