All the items in my shop are handmade by myself in my studio in Scotland! I use a variety of different glass techniques to create unique designs and custom orders are always welcome.
Suggested by my Mum and our mutual love of bad puns, this Dandy-Lion plays on the garden weed of the same name!

Full description
Feeling bright and dandy, this king of the beasts is telling the time with his clock!
This lion is made from one piece of chunky 10mm thick clear float glass that has been cut to shape using a water jet cutting machine.
It has then been screen-printed by hand in green, autumn brown and white enamel, which is fired into place making it waterproof and resistant to sunlight. All my kiln-fired pieces are carefully digitally annealed and cooled for strength and safety.
Finally a small clear glass base is fused onto the lions paws for stability and it is gift boxed with a story card.
It measures -
Height - 135mm / 5&5/16 inches
Width - 200mm / 7&7/8 inches
Depth - 20mm / 3/4 inch
Weight - 280g / 10oz
The image above is an example, as each Lion is unique, due to the making process.
Lions are also available as brooches and cufflinks in my shop collections.
