All the items in my shop are handmade by myself in my studio in Scotland! I use a variety of different glass techniques to create unique designs and custom orders are always welcome.
The camouflage print on this piece is a nod to my great grandfather who was a scenic artist and painted camouflage as part of his deployment during the Second World War. Although we never met, I believe I inherited much of my artistic talent from him.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Playing in the spring green foliage, camouflaged by leaves!
This little hare is made from one piece of chunky 10mm thick clear float glass that has been cut to shape using a water jet cutting machine.
It has then been hand-printed in 3 different colours; light green, dark green and brown enamel, which is fired into place making it waterproof and resistant to sunlight. All my kiln-fired pieces are carefully digitally annealed and cooled for strength and safety.
It measures -
Height - 100mm / 4 inches
Width - 70mm / 2 3/4 inches
Depth - 10mm / 3/8 inch
Weight - 100g / 3 1/2 oz
My little hares are also available as greetings cards, enamel pins and glass brooches, stud earrings, pendants or cufflinks in my shop collections.
This piece is unique, designed and made by me in my studio in Glasgow, Scotland.
